The fluted, ribbed and soft forms of the Cactus necklace are carved from chrysoprase. Begun in 2015, the piece developed slowly over more than

a decade, taking new turns and finishing in 2026. Each graduated link was individually carved by hand, the stone’s natural translucency giving the deep apple green colour a gentle inner glow. Slender 18K gold rods run through the hollowed interior of each link, stringing and articulating the necklace while remaining almost hidden from the front, surfacing only as small flashes of gold against the stone. A new piece, shown for the first time here in Copenhagen, it stands as a testament to De Syllas’s remarkable skill and craftsmanship.
